Bab Al-Madina General Contracting Company is a partnership stock company established under the act of Misurata region public committee's Secretary No. 390/2005, settled its legal position in accordance with the provisions of the Libyan trade law and its amendments by carrying out all the laws, legislations, and the rules regarding the practicing of economical activities with the capital amount of 4,000.000 L.D., its main headquarters are in the city of Misurata and practicing its works for several areas of the construction works including:
• Practicing of all civil works, construction, construction and architectural construction.
• Electrical works, mechanical & electrical maintenance and installations.
• Carry out the settlement of soil leveling and the opening of roads & schemes.
• Carry out the implementations of water and sanitation systems and the gas installations.
• Manufacture of all building materials used to achieve the company purposes.
• Import of all projects' necessary equipment, machinery and materials, as well as furniture and equipment that the company contracted to implement them.
In confirmation of our sincere and strong desire to take a share at the contribution of the society advancement by the implementation of our company works in accordance with the technical specifications & standards by virtue of our wide and extensive experience in this area, on the basis of our previous works that we have been implemented and completed on time depending on our experience in general contracting firm for more than seventeen years of which sharpen the company's cadres experience of technicians, engineers and a sufficient number of machineries and equipment to the execution of all the required works.
Company's personnel consists of a range of technically experienced Libyans and Arabs whom some of them have more than twenty years of experience, especially in the electrical and mechanical works, and executed a range of networks and power plants' projects, as the annex, for example but not limited to:
• Cable networks 30 K.V. - 11 K.V - 0.4 K.V of more than 50 km.
• The electrical and mechanical installation works of 30/11 K.V stations –for 11 stations.
• The electrical and mechanical installation works of 30/11 K.V stations–for 150 stations.
• Adjustment controls for a number of 16 stations 30/11 K.V.
• Implementation of public lighting networks of 30 km.
• The implementation of high and low- pressure networks air lines 20 km.
Currently, contracted on air feeding line of seven kilometers length of 30 K.V from the 220 K.V power station in Tmina region to the industrial plant and Al-Nassem station in Misurata.
We have been contracted for the implementation of electricity projects adjustment with Electric Projects Company to 133 stations 30/11 K.V. in several areas of Libya and execution of 220 K.V power station's civil works for the three stations.
The company contracted for the implementation of electrical installations of electrical and mechanical plant stations 30/11 K.V. at Al-Marj- AlSho'ala in Al-Baida & Mansheya in Sabha.
In addition to the above, the company is negotiating with the GECo.on the execution of electrical & mechanical works for a number of 220 K.V power station's inside Libya. Our company also has been agreed with the enginering company for electrical & mechanical works in Benghazi to implement the electrical & mechanical works to several 11/66 K.V stations.
Currently the company is studying the implementation of 220KV and had finished many projects concerning civil works, roads building, and levelling works.
The company cooperates with several consulting offices for the accomplish of some works and doing of the required testing as required by the work, in case of the need for some casual labor, asking for the assistance of many of the technical & casual labor whom cooperating with the company with a fixed sum depending on the contracted work.
And the company maintained since its inception to the implement its works in an excellent manner, that demonstrating the implementation of its executed works without any mentioned notes which is resulted because of the company's experts & qualifications available.
In pursuit of the company to develop its self , the company has established work quality system procedures, instructions, quality of evidence and that was by the settlement and the establishment of quality management system ISO 9001 and the training of existing cadre in the company to use the system and applying it to reach the highest levels of implementation and management , therefore the company was awarded the international quality certificate ISO 9001 from the English foundation ACM which confirmed for issuing those certificates as the annexed list of the executed projects suggests our company experience on achieving works accurately and in a good time according to the company implemented projects and in almost a short time period.
